Movement. Moving. Going.
In our internet-based society, we move through life to create what we imagine will make us happy. We focus our daily energy to move towards our desires, hopes and dreams. The closer we get to achievement, the faster we move. We take more steps, move more. We generate all of this energy through movement completely disregarding the one aspect of our body generating that energy: our breath. Breath fuels muscles and the cells within them.
Yogis believe in the breath-movement connection: one motion, one breath. Not all people move one breath at a time as they take steps, walk, run or play. Whether its a current practice or not, setting your body to move with the breath can help regenerate multiple areas of the body and release held tension from the mind.
